Choosing a custom window for your next home improvement project can seem overwhelming. After all, there are so many options to choose from when it comes to design features, ease of cleaning, and lifestyle function. Fortunately, the team at Ruscohas been guiding homeowners throughout Chicagoland on their next custom window project for more than 81 years.

The first thing our design consultants talk about with our clients is types of residential windows available. Once clients are able to determine which type window may work for their space, we are able to make other decisions together and move toward a prompt installation. Here are just a few types of windows that we offer here at Rusco.

Casement Windows
Clients often love casement windows because of the modern and clean look. There’s no decorative elements here, just a hinged window that is sleek, beautiful, and a snap to clean.

Double Hung Windows
Offering a more traditional, but still classic look, double hung windows slide open by moving them up and down. These windows are much easier to clean than in decades past, and give your space fresh air with a beautiful look.

Stationery Windows
Not all windows need to open, as they are there for a high impact design statement instead. Picture windows, or a series of stationery windows, don’t open but let in natural light while complementing your room’s design elements.

Slider Windows
Slider windows don’t open by moving them up and down, like a double hung. Instead, these windows slide open to let air in by sliding left and right along a track at the bottom and top. These are ideal for spaces where pushing a window up and down may not be the best option, such as a home office or bedroom.

Bow Windows
If you are seeking to make your room look a bit larger, a group of bow windows is the best option. These windows extend in a bow shape beyond the straight lines of your home’s walls, giving the space a larger look.

These are just a few examples of windowsthat we can customize and install for you. From bays to bows, casements to double hung, our design and installation teams can give you exactly what you want. Give us a call to get started today.
